Experience teaches us that we cannot trust others 100% of the time and, worse yet, we even let ourselves down. But it is comforting to know that as we walk in His wisdom, the Lord is trustworthy 100% of the time and then some!

Even though there may be rough waters beating against the rocks of this life, our Rock will never be shaken…we have a secure and firm foundation now and forever more!

Our Savior was tempted in every way and resisted it all! Once He puts His life in us, we too are filled with His Spirit and strength to resist temptation! As we choose to follow His lead, He promises to help us…and we can trust that He is able!

Pslam 150 ends this glorious Book of the Bible with six verses reminding us thirteen times where, when, how and who is to praise the Lord. It emphasizes the importance of everything praising Him all the time, everywhere, in all things! Praise the LORD!

The Lord’s power is something we can boast about for His glory! Surrendering to the One who gave His life for us is often difficult, but reaps great blessings! We have the joy of seeing Him perform His miraculous work through His willing vessels…us!!

We have the most wise, loving, compassionate Father in the Universe who teaches us what the absolute best path is for our lives! He has provided our Life Manual, His Word, to light our way…the way of love, joy, peace and blessings!

Words can tear down or build up, they can discourage or encourage. Oh what trouble and pain we can avoid if we only speak the words God puts in our mouths. Lord, guard our hearts, for out of it the mouth speaks… Please make them sweet!

The Lord will give us seeing eyes and understanding hearts to absorb all the wonderful things He has for us in and through His timeless Word. All we need to do is open His Book and ask for His help…and He will give it!

The best wisdom, insight and plan we can ever follow is the Lord’s… Nothing else can stand against or surpass the blessings we receive from choosing His upside down inside out way of living. He is our true success, our everything!

As hard as it is to let go of our growing children, there comes a time when we simply need to entrust their hearts and lives to the Lord alone. Their adventures may take them places we cannot go, but we can call on the One who goes with them!

Regardless of our past, He gives everyone who believes and trusts in Him a future and a hope! This is called grace, and God has more than enough love, mercy and grace for each of us…for God SO loves the world!!

Praise God for the amazing Gift of His Son who left the wonders of heaven to be born in a manger, live a humble life, travel as an intinerate preacher, then suffer and die for our sin…all so we can be set free from ours!

God’s Word is powerful to heal every area of our lives…mind, body and soul. To read it and heed it is life and breath itself! It is a lamp to our feet, a light to our path…it is alive, active and applicable…it is the timeless love story of God’s deep love for us!

Praying candidly to the Lord frees us from whatever holds our hearts captive, confined or imprisoned. Whether we brought this thing on ourselves, or it was brought on by some one or some thing else, HE still holds the key to freedom!

Isn’t it grand to know the Lord is good and trustworthy regardless of what may be troubling us?!!! He is ever present, always aware and ready to deliver us from all our fears…our true and sure refuge!

Like clay in a potter’s hands, the Lord will remold and remake us, remove flaws and smooth our rough edges through people, circumstance and His Word. As we yield to His gentle touch, He changes us into vessels of honor – fit for the Father’s use!

Though we cannot see our Invisible God, His Word promises He is here, and God sticks to His promises! He said He will always be with us until the end of time and so He will! Believe it, trust it, count on it!!

Hebrews 11 lists many who ran before us and persevered by faith regardless of the circumstances. Here in 12:1 we are encouraged to learn from their example… persevering because God is who He says He is and does what He says He will do.

God’s faithfulness never wavers even if ours does and His ways are perfect even within the complexities of everyday life. We can trust that He has wonderful things planned for each us when we exalt Him above all!

God chose to give us His very best, the One and Only Indescribable Gift of His Precious Son…making it an absolute privilege to give Him our whole hearts and lives out of sheer gratitude. And in giving our all, we are indescribably blessed!

God’s Word resets our thinking to the exact opposite of the natural man’s thought pattern. This verse is a great example, stating that we are to help the weak and that we gain more from giving than receiving. The Bible calls it BLESSED…and so it is!!

We are like a horse fit for battle when we train for life’s challenges by putting on the whole armor of God, praying always and trusting in the victory that rests in His almighty hands.

God tells us to consider how He cares for the ravens because He cares so much more for us. So rather than letting our worries eat us, we can choose to chew on God’s great care for us, knowing we are His valued children! Much better!

The same power that raised Jesus from the grave is here with us today, in Christ He lives in us. He redeems our souls, frees us from all our sin and shame, and walks with us every hour of every day.

Wouldn’t it have been amazing to walk the Emmaus Road with Jesus? As we spend time with Him in His Word and in prayer, our hearts will burn within us as well. Yes, He will walk with us and talk with us too! Doesn’t that just warm your soul?

We have the blessed assurance that we can fly away at any time, directly into the sheltering arms of our Lord…He is never too busy with world affairs to help us in our need! He hears our slightest sigh or softest whispered prayer, He is here.

The Lord is our shelter through the most vehement of life’s storms, and He is our shade in every heated moment. No matter the need, great or small, He will ever be our safe refuge.
