Verse of the Week…

I recently read that in this verse ‘power’ represents the Holy Spirit, ‘love’ represents the love of the Father and a ‘sound mind’ (self-discipline in NIV, sound mind in KJV) represents the Word of God which is Jesus Christ the Living Word. If we are in fellowship with our Father Who is Love through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, fear has no power over us. Oh, to walk that close to our Almighty three-in-one magnificent God!!! 🙏🏻✝️❣️

Verse of the Week…

Peace… We can’t see it or touch it, but we certainly can feel it when we have it. It’s that peace that only God can give us, that peace that passes ALL understanding because it comes from the LORD and not from within our limited, all-to-human selves. And it is not because life is perfect (Is it ever?), but because He is and He promises to be with us every day of our lives…whether we’re walking in the sunshine of a great day or through the floods and fires life can bring. His peace can guide us through our troubles and remove our fears, and how wonderful that is! I hope and pray you are tapping into His peace today and every day of your life! ❤️🙏🏻✝️🥰❣️

Verse of the Week…

These verses always bring to mind the old hymn, “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” And what a wonderful thought to wake up to… that because of our LORD’s great LOVE we are not consumed by the cares of this world. And how consuming they can become, but for His unfailing love and compassion for us. Where would we be without Him? I don’t ever want to know! 🙌🏻✝️❤️🙏🏻

Just Thinking…

The sheep in this picture looks so sweetly pathetic, it reminded me of the day HE rescued me. He seeks out the lost & lonely, the hurt & broken, the misguided & disillusioned, the bitter & angry. No matter how deep and dark the pit may be, His rope is long enough to reach us. No road is too rocky that He won’t travel it, no mountain is to high that He won’t climb it, no sin is too great that He won’t forgive it. Yes, He seeks us out…each one as if we were the only one. There truly is no greater love! John 3:16 says it all… “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Great Shepherd came to rescue and redeem His sheep. Simply put, we all need rescuing…and all He asks is that we believe and follow Him. Count me eternally grateful! 🙌🏻✝️❤️😊

Verse of the Week…

Happy New Year! 🥳🎉 I hope you are stepping into 2022 in faith, trusting that God has some new things for you and that He will be with you, making a way for you one step at a time! The old hymn “Follow Jesus” comes to mind… “Follow, follow, I will follow Jesus! Anywhere, everywhere, I will follow Him!” 🎶🙏🏻🎵🙌🏻🎶❣️
