He is risen… Yes, He is risen indeed! And it is the very fact that He arose that makes all the difference in the world! And before He ascended to Heaven, He promised to send the Comforter, His Holy Spirit, who counsels and guides us. He is our constant Companion who will never to leave us or forsake us, and He will be with us until the end of the age! Isaiah 43:2 says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” We are never promised a trouble-free life but, as with this verse, there are so many promises in His Word of His presence, His abiding love and His sustaining grace through it all! There is NO other god who can claim this, no other faith that has such assurance!
