Happy May Day! May Day is an old festival traditionally celebrating Spring! And Spring makes me think of light, thus leading to our theme. Dancing, singing, and cake are usually part of the festivities…and I’m all for that! So, welcome to a new month and a new theme. I am excited to explore the wonderful Light of the World with you. Happy Easter!! Yes, our Savior lives to be our Rock, Fortress, Deliverer, Refuge, Shield, Salvation and Stronghold! He is our Refuge forever! Hallelujah!!!

Happy April Fool’s Day! As you may have guessed, this month’s theme is “God Our Refuge,” no foolin’! I sincerely hope you enjoy each verse, dwelling under His everlasting arms. 🙂

Lord, thank You that hope remains along with faith and love…for truly, YOU are our Blessed Hope, the One in Whom we put our faith, the One Who fills our hearts with love!

Lord, there is nothing I desire more than to make You smile! May this reverential, awe-inspired, grateful, worshipful fear — like that of a child wanting to please her loving and compassionate Daddy — be the motivation behind all I do! Your unfailing love IS my only hope, I hope in YOU alone!
