If you’ve read my Welcome page, you know that I am now semi-retired from a busy speaking and drama ministry but, like most bloggers, I still have a lot to say. Originally, I started blogging mainly to share my ‘ah-ha moments’ from time in God’s Word. Sometimes they can be so vivid that I just have to write them down.
Then life got busy, but since I love to encourage people I started sending out a “Today’s Encouraging Thought” with a graphic (which I love doing)…these also flowed from time in the Word, and it was a simple way to reach out to others without the hours it took to write. And then, as life got busier, I went to a monthly theme, changing it to “Celebrate the ________” with a new theme in the blank each month and different verses each day.
I’ve received lots of positive feedback from these daily posts so, whether I write more or not, I do hope they are an encouragement to you. But my heart’s desire is to write more… Guess we’ll see how that goes. Right now I am open to the Lord’s leading in whatever direction He leads me.
I feel like the missionary who arrived in a foreign land and was trusting a ‘guide’ to get him to his final destination. As the guide continued to wack away at all the underbrush, the missionary finally asked, “Where are we? Where are you taking me? Where is the path?” The guide simply turned to him and said, “I am the path.” And so it is with God…He truly is my Path and I hope He is for you too!
Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
