The media stirs the pot and the more you engage in that, the more anxious you will feel… Thus, this month, we are focusing on the promises of God. Being in His Word and standing on HIS promises, along with praise and worship, are all sure to bring way more inner joy and peace than any Corid-19 info your read or hear. May we each rest in the very shelter of His Sheltering Wings! (Psalm 91)
Amen! God getting me through it is absolutely what comforts me even in the most difficult of times! And yesterday I actually did something that was really amazingly helpful for me I was reading stuff online about speculation on how long the Coronavirus lockdown and pandemic will last and I noticed it was starting to stir up anxiety in me and God reminded me of my Church’s Pastor Pastor Mike’s amazing wisdom to shut out sources of stress and anxiety and read your Bible and so I closed out of the site and researched Bible verses to read for comfort in this crazy coronavirus time and then I read those verses and all of my anxiety went away and I was totally calm and happy, satisfied and thankful knowing that God is in control and will fix this in His time! Plus, I have been discovering some amazing Christian rap artists like KJ-52 and Christian rap groups like Gospel Gangstaz, The Cross Movement and Grits and they have such amazing beats and rapping flows and positive uplifting lyrics about God The Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I also have been discovering old time Gospel music, artists like Mahalia Jackson and bands like The Dixie Hummingbirds and that is really beautiful music very tuneful singing and pf course positive, uplifting lyrics about God The Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I find it to be so inspirational how these African-American musicians found comfort in God The Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ first in the years of slavery then in the decades of Jim Crow laws like segregation and voter suppression after that and expressed that through beautiful music that Praises The Lord! 😀👍👊✋😍💙💛💯🎉🎸 🎹 🪕🙏⛪️✝️
