Verse of the Week…

Love covers a multitude of sins… Wow! Those are powerful words!!! When we love others with a godly, forgiving, accepting love — the kind of love God bestows upon us — it covers over their sins and ours. We have full opportunity to exemplify the sacrificial love of our Savior who gave His very life for us while we were still sinners. I will admit, loving others is not always easy. Matter of fact, the more deeply you love, the more deeply you will get hurt…simply because you care. But loving and being loved sure beats the alternative of shutting the world out and ‘living lonely.’ I’m guessing Jesus would agree that love is risky, love is costly, but love is worth it! Since He thought you and I were worth it, I’m thinking others are too! 💖💖💖

Verse of the Week…

He is risen… Yes, He is risen indeed! And it is the very fact that He arose that makes all the difference in the world! And before He ascended to Heaven, He promised to send the Comforter, His Holy Spirit, who counsels and guides us. He is our constant Companion who will never to leave us or forsake us, and He will be with us until the end of the age! Isaiah 43:2 says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” We are never promised a trouble-free life but, as with this verse, there are so many promises in His Word of His presence, His abiding love and His sustaining grace through it all! There is NO other god who can claim this, no other faith that has such assurance! That said, I pray you have the most amazing Easter — Resurrection Sunday — as we Celebrate the amazing truth that our Savior Lives!!! 🙌🏻✝️🕊❣️🥰

Verse of the Week…

The greatest Walk of Love, in my humble opinion, was when Jesus walked the cobblestone road up to Calvary’s hill. With the Garden of Gethsemane behind Him, He was fully surrendered to the Father’s will as He carried the cross He would be nailed to and crucified upon for you and me. He had lived a perfect, sinless life, yet, He had been stripped naked, mocked, had a crown of thorns pressed into His brow, been spit upon, had his beard plucked out and was brutally beaten to near death. Yet, knowing His mission – the Cross He would bear for the sins of the whole world – He willingly trudged up the hill to Calvary out of sheer love of you and me… Yes, He did it all for us. He was a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God on our behalf. Though it is something we can and should thank Him for every day of our lives, this great act of love is worthy of our concentrated and deep contemplation this coming week leading up to Good Friday. This is a time to remember His death and, of course, His Victorious Resurrection which we will celebrate this coming Sunday. Hallelujah! Our Savior Lives! 🙌🏻✝️🕊❤️
