Jesus defended Mary when Martha tattled on her for not helping her and again when Judas Iscariot criticized her for wasting her most valuable, generous, sacrificial gift in an act of worship. HE was with her! And HE is our Advocate in the presence of our accusers as well, whether it is another fallible human or the enemy himself attacking and battling within our minds. I pray that wherever you are today, as we walk through this Holy Week leading up to Easter, that you will feel our Savior’s heart of love for you, that you have an Advocate!
