Fix Your Eyes on Giving Thanks…

Happy November, everyone! Though we can extend gratitude, thanks and praise every day of our lives, November is typically the month we refocus on “Thanksgiving” more than usual. There is so much joy and power in praise. It is truly a strategic action plan we can take against the enemy and his tactics. Rather than grumble about our problems and rehearse our grievances to each other over and over again until they grow larger and larger like the proverbial fish story, we can choose to focus on what we have to be thankful for and praise God from sincere hearts overflowing with gratitude! The result? Our joy will grow larger and larger, and we will become more enthused and encouraged ourselves. We will be people that reflect the light and life of our Glorious Savior to a world in need! I am personally deeply thankful for each of you who follow “Fix Your Eyes” each day and send encouraging thoughts to me as well. God bless you this month with hearts full of gratitude! 💖🙌🏻✝️😘

Fix Your Eyes on Trust… Happy Harvest Season Everyone! Harvesting always brings to mind the faith a farmer has that the ground he tilled, sowed, watered and weeded will bring forth a great harvest. He had to do his part and trust God to do the rest. Faith and trust go hand in hand…and ultimately, true faith is more than simply believing in God with our head, but fully trusting Him from the very core of our heart. It is believing that He is who He says He is and trusting that He will do what He says He will do. Faith in His timeless, living Word is the very foundation on which we stand, believe and trust! I pray this month’s verses will find you deeper in faith, trust and comfort. I love each of you and deeply appreciate all of your kind comments throughout the month. Blessings! 🙌🏻✝️🙏🏻😘

Many students returned to the classroom several weeks ago, traditionally however, September has been considered back-to-school month for decades (oops, showing my age! 😅). Vacations, days at the beaches, lake or pools are soon displaced with the busyness of early wake-ups, school drop-offs, long school days, football practices, drama and choir rehearsals, and all sorts of activities that keep moms on the road and children and youth in the books, hopefully. I encourage you, dear followers (as I speak to my own heart and need as well), let us each continue to engage in the Greatest Book ever written and encounter the Living Word of the God of the Universe as we “Fix our eyes on Wisdom” this month! August is here and along with it comes the last part of summer, a time to prepare for a new school year, followed by holiday busyness.😱 I know, it’s too soon to talk about that, but it’s a great time to fix our eyes on the Rock of Ages, our theme for this month. This first verse pretty-much sums up my testimony, thus, I love it! Wherever He finds you, He will always take you higher and He is the highest Rock of all, the Rock of Ages! 💕✝️💕
