Celebrate the Promises…

Happy Easter! Hope your day is richly blessed as we celebrate our Risen LORD and His amazing love, grace and mercy in our lives…all wrapped up in His life, death, buriel and resurrection! What a Savior! 🙌🏻❤️✝️😊

Celebrate the Promises…

Today I was reminded of the power of praise in our lives! Regardless of the storms we go through, we can know that we are not alone. Jesus is in the boat with us, and He can and will calm the raging sea in us and around us. Our part? Call on Him, trust His promises and praise Him, yes, even in the storm. When we praise God, the enemy flees and joy returns…test it, watch, wait and see! To celebrate is to commemorate, make known publicly and proclaim. Bottom line, it is to praise! It radiates our faith to an unbelieving world and, hopefully, some will see the absolute glory of the the LORD of Lords and the KING of Kings and believe! So this month, especially in ‘this’ storm of Covid-19, let us Celebrate the Promises, trusting our Savior wholeheartedly as we look forward to His miraculous deliverance! 🙌🏻❤️✝️😊

Laughter is Good Medicine!

Just a reminder during these ‘strange’ times that a little giggle is good for ya! A couple friends and I were just text-chatting about our current situation and we’re actually thinking of writing a couple of books.

The first title will be called “The Quarantine Kitchen…Recipes you need when the pantry is almost empty” It will include recipes for delicious dishes like Yam Pizza, Dill Pickle Chili and Hominy Spaghetti. 😅 Of course, we’re open to ideas. What are usually the last items in your pantry? Just remember, if you use enough Tobasco, it all tastes the same anyway.

Our second book will be called “Toilet Paper Alternatives…Why did I throw away those old phone books?” I know, some are saying, “What’s a phone book?” 😂 It was a pre-internet google search for phone numbers and addresses of people and businesses…You probably figured that out, but just in case, there you have it! Chapter titles might be a little hard to come by, but we will make sure the cover is soft and the pages are two-ply.

OK, so maybe this quarantine thing is making us a bit silly, but the giggle did make me feel a lot better! 😂🤣 Hope it gave you a little chuckle too!❣️😆❣️ Stay well and sane…ok, at least stay well…sanity will return later, hopefully!🤪 Signing off with a huge virtual hug, a sincere prayer and a smile! 🤗🙏🏻😁

Celebrate the Blessings…

For the next several days, I will be sharing a series of verses from Deuteronomy Chapter 28…verses that, though they were originally addressing the Children of Israel, are wise to claim and pray over our nation and in our individual lives as well. May the compassionate, merciful blessings of our loving LORD be upon us all. 🙏🏻✝️💖

Celebrate the Blessings…

March is here! A month where green clothing makes its way out of our closets and corned beef and cabbage go on sale at the grocery store…all in celebration of an Irish tradition called Saint Patrick’s Day. The luck of the Irish is a term often used when things go extraordinarily well for someone. And you don’t have to be lucky or Irish to enjoy the fun and food during the month of March. So now, rather than focusing on ‘luck,’ we are going to focus on the many extraordinary ‘blessings’ we enjoy from our compassionate, loving and most generous Heavenly Father. It is my prayer that each day’s verse will be a true blessing to your very soul! Though these verses are directly from the Word of God who is the Author and finisher of our faith, I am still deeply blessed by your insightful and kind comments. And whether you wear red, orange, yellow, blue, pink, purple or, yes, even GREEN, I hope you have a truly blessed month! 💖✝️😊

Celebrate the Love…

Celebrate the Love… Typically, February is known for Valentine’s Day, a day when lovers, young and old, exchange glittering cards filled with heartfelt poetry, share a special dinner or send flowers and candy to each other…and, of course, we can’t forget the fun children share as they exchange cards and candy in their elementary school classrooms! However, this month’s theme, “Celebrate the Love,” will focus more on the deepest, richest love relationship possible…the love our Heavenly Father has for us as His beloved sons and daughters, the love we can freely express back to Him and the love we share with one another. Beginning with John 3:16, the Golden Text of the Bible, we see that God so loved the world that He gave…He gave before we deserved it, earned it or even knew He existed. God’s love is a giving and forgiving kind of love, it’s a love that we can grow to know and exemplify the more we know Him and His Word. It is my hope that each of you not only know and experience His love, but that you will truly CELEBRATE it with me this month…Happy February!
